Windansea Beach
Our favorite beach to frequent, located in La Jolla, CA. It's one of the more quiet beaches we've discovered. Lots of surfers ride the waves here. Dog friendly. :)
Coronado Island
Another one of our favorite places to frequent. We enjoy hanging out on Silver Strand State Beach and exploring all of the boutiques in town. Be sure to go inside the historic Hotel Del Coronado and visit Spreckels Sweets And Treats.
San Diego Zoo
We are San Diego Zoo annual pass owners. We are absolutely in love with the beautiful animals, and we take hope in the zoo's hard work to save animal species around the world. Maddie's favorites are the amur leopards and the elephants. Eli's favorite is the red panda. Don't miss visiting the zoo while you are here!
Balboa Park
Another favorite place we've grown to cherish during our time in San Diego. A few days after our engagement, we visited the park to take photos, and we've been coming to the park ever since. The architecture will take your breath away. We highly recommend visiting the park around sunset, and staying to see how beautiful it is lit up at night.
La Jolla Open Aire Farmers Market
Open every Sunday from 9am-1pm. Local vendors selling produce, crafts & artwork, plus a food court & events. We highly recommend checking out the market, especially if you'll be staying in the La Jolla area (which is where our ceremony will be taking place).
Great Maple
Hands down the best breakfast spot in San Diego. Order the French toast logs...you won't regret it...
