Our love story started with a simple swipe on Bumble — proof that sometimes technology really can bring two hearts together. After a few messages back and forth, we decided to meet for our first date at Whit’s Frozen Custard where we talked for hours. Between shared smiles, frozen custard, and easy conversation, we both knew something special had just begun. Preston was the first to say “I love you” (he swears he couldn’t help himself), and while it took me a little longer to say it back, he won me over with his patience, kindness, and unwavering heart. From the start, we discovered how much we had in common — our shared love for Disney adventures, Marvel movies, and Gilmore Girls marathons, along with our faith in Jesus and deep love for our families. Those connections became the foundation of something even more beautiful: a love that feels like home.
One of our favorite little traditions as a couple has always been taking pictures together in photo booths — the kind where you squeeze in close, make silly faces, and leave with a strip of memories. So it was only fitting that Preston chose one of those booths for one of the biggest moments of our lives. As the camera flashed and the film was printing, Preston turned to me with a smile and asked me to be his wife. It was the perfect mix of joy, surprise, and pure “us” — captured forever in those little photos. Now, as November approaches, we’re counting down the days until we say “I do” and begin our greatest adventure yet — as husband and wife.
