Highland Park Village
Highland Park Village is the best luxury shopping in Dallas. While you’re there, be sure to visit Ryder and Riley at Material Good! For dining, enjoy elevated Tex-Mex at Mi Cocina or sip a signature Mambo Taxi on the rooftop of Monkey Bar. If you’re lucky enough to snag an outdoor table at Honor Bar, the crispy chicken sandwich is a local favorite. For something more casual, Sadelle’s serves up excellent coffee and bagels to-go.
Design District
Spend the afternoon exploring the Design District’s curated selection of antique shops and galleries. In the evening, dine at Carbone—one of Dallas’ most popular restaurants. For a more personal favorite, we recommend Town Hearth, where we shared our first date (the steak and the mac and cheese is unforgettable).
Knox Street
Knox Street is a beloved neighborhood known for its charming mix of boutiques and cafés, including local favorites like Berkeley’s, Foxtrot, and Fairgrounds. Just steps away, Village Baking Co. offers some of the city’s finest house-made pastries. For dining, enjoy wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza at Pizzana, or cross the street to Taverna, where handmade pastas and lively sidewalk seating make it a perfect spot for people-watching.
The Katy Trail
Just off Knox Street lies the Katy Trail—a picturesque, tree-lined path stretching three miles through the heart of the city. After your stroll, unwind with a signature Summer Beer at the iconic Katy Trail Ice House.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Wander through the Dallas Arboretum, a beautiful botanical garden in East Dallas, and take in its remarkable collection of plants and seasonal blooms.
