What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code is Black Tie Formal. Gentlemen are invited to wear tuxedos or classic black suits with a formal white shirt and black bow tie. Women should plan for formal evening attire appropriate for a black tie event.

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM (EST) at The Conservatory. Please plan to arrive early to allow time for seating.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to a formal seated reception, we are only accommodating guests listed on the invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will appear when you RSVP.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from The Read House Hotel in downtown Chattanooga. Shuttles will depart from the hotel at: • 4:15 PM • 4:30 PM Guests staying elsewhere are welcome to Uber to The Read House Hotel and take the shuttle, or Uber directly to the venue. If you plan to enjoy cocktail throughout the evening, please do not drive to the venue unless you have a designated driver. If you are taking the shuttle, please be ready at The Read House Hotel by 4:10 PM to catch the first shuttle at 4:15 PM. If you are Ubering directly to the venue, we recommend arriving between 4:45–5:00 PM so you have plenty of time to find your seat before the ceremony begins at 5:30 PM. Shuttle departure times for the end of the evening are TBD.

Ceremony: Outdoors Cocktail Hour: Outdoors Reception Dinner & After Party: Indoors Dinner will be a formal seated reception.

What time zone should we follow?

Answer

IMPORTANT**** The venue property sits between Eastern and Central time zones, but all wedding weekend events will operate on Eastern Time (EST). Please make sure your phone does not automatically switch between time zones during the weekend. Keeping your phone set to Eastern Time will ensure you arrive on time for all events.
