Ryder and Abby met in their building's co-ed community group at GCU. One week, Abby decided to go alone, secretly hoping to meet someone special ;) To her surprise, a cute boy did end up talking to her, and not just any cute boy but the leader of the community group. From that point on they saw eachother all around campus until the day Ryder finally decided (after 1 week) to ask her on a date to Raising Cane's. It didn't take long for the two to become a couple and you can guess the rest. Moral of the story is to go to your building's (or church's) community group.

Abby and Ryder will be moving into their first apartment in Mesa, Arizona, following their honeymoon. Ryder is starting classes at Phoenix Seminary this fall and will continue working as a preteen director at OneLife Church in Mesa. Abby graduated with a BS in Biology in December 2025. She will begin PA school in the fall of 2026.
