Are you going to stand there and laugh...

... or are you going to come dance with me?

It was a normal Saturday. Both of us woke up ready to head to our jobs, but little did we know that this particular Saturday was special. Michael worked at a car lot and Kylee was a radio DJ. Our paths crossed at Expo Idaho during Kylee's radio remote. While Kylee was hanging up a radio banner, Michael broke the ice by walking up behind her and saying "You hung that crooked..." With a cocky smirk. As he was walking by the radio tent a little bit later, Kylee was dancing while listening to the music. He smiled and laughed with his buddy Kurtis as they walked by. This time Kylee was the one with a smart mouth and said, "Are you going to stand there and laugh or are you going to come dance with me?" AND SO THEY DANCED. At the end of Kylee's shift, Michael hadn't asked her for her number yet. He helped her load the van and break down her equipment. Kurtis kept pushing him to ask for it the whole afternoon, and as Kylee was about to leave Michael approached her. Unbeknownst to him, he had made an impression on her and she had already decided that he needed to call her later. She walked right up to him as he was getting ready to say goodbye, and handed him a note saying, "Here... I think you need this." as he opened the note, he saw her name and phone number written on the radio station sticky note.... and we still have that sticky note to this day. 6 years later... you could say things worked out.
