We eloped.

We met in 2020 on Hinge, back when its slogan was “Designed to be deleted.” Rych was finishing pharmacy school, Taylor was settling into a new job, and the world promptly shut down. So instead of crowded restaurants, our early dates turned into road trips and outdoor adventures. From driving six hours west to escape city lights for astrophotography, to hopping on planes, trains, boats, and cars across the U.S. and the world, we quickly learned we loved exploring together. Along the way, we adopted two furry sidekicks, Dino and Ollie, and discovered new foods, music, places, and perspectives through each other. After five years of adventuring, Taylor popped the question in St. Kitts. A year later, we quietly eloped at the courthouse. We’re still doing what we’ve always done, challenging each other, growing together, and saying yes to the next adventure—side by side.
