What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is formal attire. Women should wear long dresses of any color except white, cream, or champagne. Men should wear a suit and tie - no jeans or shorts, please.

Are children welcome?

Although we love your little ones, our event is adults only with the exception of those participating in the ceremony. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We request you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony time so you have time to find your seat. Please arrive no earlier than 3:30 pm.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. We will move into the manor for the reception. Temperatures in Wilmington in early November are generally mild.

Is parking available?

Answer

Welcome party: There is a large parking deck a half block down the street from Ironclad Brewing with a small hourly fee, found at 114 N 2nd Street. Street parking is free after 7 pm but spaces are limited. Downtown parking lots have a premium so if you are driving the deck is the way to go! The wedding venue has ample parking available. However, we recommend utilizing ride sharing (Uber/ Lyft) so you can fully enjoy the evening's festivities. Any cars left overnight at the venue must be retrieved no later than 11 am the following day.
