Federal Hill / Locust Point - Everything is awesome here. Check out Fort McHenry! Fells Point - Good day drinking spot. There may be pirates.... Downtown - Just go to the aquarium and that's it. Nothing else to see here, move on!
The Baltimore aquarium is incredible, the best in the US. This is the only thing we recommend doing downtown.
The O's are in town September 3rd - 9th. This ballpark is one of the best and truly a classic experience. Go to pickles pub to pregame!
Annapolis is about a 30-40 minute drive outside the city so you will need a car. This is the perfect day trip and there is a ton to do. We recommend kayaking, walking the state Capital / historic district, checking out the Naval Academy and getting a bite in their waterside downtown area.
This is where the proposal happened! It is beautiful and easy to get to. If you look out into the distance you can see what is left of the key bridge. Great jogging spot too.
Latrobe Park - they have tennis courts, basketball courts, fields, and nice walking paths. Riverside Park - small park but a nice one! Fed Hill Park - a great view of the Inner Harbor but that's about it. Fort McHenry - great views and walking path along the harbor. Fed to Downtown Path - Just past Di Pasquale's Harborview, there is a walking path along the harbor that takes you all the way to downtown.
If you are feeling adventurous, there are a million more things to do in DC. Accessible by the MARC train from Penn Station, this could be a nice day trip without needing a car!
