Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 4:00 PM to grab a glass of bubbly, mingle and to be seated. Our ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Cocktails, dinner and dancing will follow! Cocktail hour will begin at 5 PM and seating for the reception will begin at 6:15 PM.
The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Gentlemen should wear a dark suit with a shirt and tie (if they don’t wish to wear a tuxedo). Ladies should wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates. We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite fancy attire!
Yes! We will have shuttles that will bring guests to and from the hotel(s) and Fleetwood Farm Winery. Please be outside the Hilton Garden Inn Dulles North no later than 3:30 PM to make the shuttle. There is also a shuttle that goes between both the Hilton Garden Inn and Aloft hotels and Dulles Airport for out of town guests.
We recommend that you Uber to the Hilton Garden Inn Dulles North and catch the shuttle to and from the venue. If you choose this route, please RSVP "yes" to the shuttle questions so we have an accurate headcount. If you prefer to Uber yourself that is fine as well! However, we can't guarantee that an Uber will be available to take you home at the end of the night. We recommend scheduling your Uber pickup ahead of time. *If you will be catching the shuttle from the hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Dulles North), please be sure to arrive no later than 3:30 PM.*
For guests that will be driving themselves, there is ample parking. There will be signs directing wedding guests to the proper parking lot.
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors in the secret garden. For cocktail hour, you can either enjoy drinks and appetizers on the outdoor patio or indoors in the barrel room. The reception will be indoors. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shaw to keep warm!
We love your kids, but our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can let your hair down and celebrate with us! *The only kids in attendance will be those that are in the wedding.*
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. And we have a great photographer that will be capturing photos for us! For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #worththewade so we can see them, too!
We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP by September 2, 2023 using the RSVP card that came in the mail.
Oh yes there will! We will have passed appetizers, an open bar, as well as a 3-course meal, wedding cake, and desserts!
