We met in 2017 when we were both working at Microstrategy. As soon as Ryann saw Kevin, she immediately knew she had to date him and it didn't take long for her to begin scheming up a way to make that happen. She joined our company co-ed soccer team and began inviting Kevin to hang out with all their friends, but Kevin was not interested in getting involved with coworkers so he denied all of Ryann's advances. Eventually, we went to a mutual friend's party and Kevin got drunk enough to forget his "no co-worker" policy and we ended up kithing and holding hands the whole night. The next week, we were going to see each other again at our friend's rooftop but this time was different because Kevin was sober and thus able to remember his "no co-worker" policy. He ended up sending her an extremely cringey rejection text about an hour before they were supposed to see each other at their friend's rooftop - this did not please Rere. She ignored him at the rooftop for about 2 hours before finally mustering up the courage to tell him that his "little" text was stupid and that she thought we could really have something great between us. Somehow calling him stupid was enough to convince Kevin to go on another date with her to the Washington Football game, where he was 2 hours late, ate chicken off the Fedex Field parking lot, and had a dance-off with a homeless man at the metro stop. Apparently Ryann was not bothered by Kevin's rambunctious behavior and we've been inseparable ever since. In September of 2021, Kevin told Ryann he ran out of gas to get her somewhere scenic, where he had been planning to bend the knee and put a ring on those vienna sausages. Great success!
