Are you planning to have a traditional wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will not be having a traditional wedding ceremony or reception. We decided to make our marriage legal at the courthouse in May 2023, and will have our symbolic ceremony and intimate vow exchange in Italy this September. We look forward to celebrating with you at our wedding shower!

Why did you decide to elope in Italy?

Answer

Early in our relationship, we discovered that we both had dreams of travelling to Italy. Fast-forward 5 years, who would have guessed that we would get engaged on Lake Como in October 2022. Italy continues to hold a very special place in our hearts! By eloping, we are able to embrace the true essence of our love, and focus on the intimacy and authenticity of our commitment. It allows us to create an intimate space where our hearts can speak freely, uninterrupted by the distractions of a traditional wedding. We want this moment to be a true reflection of who we are as a couple, celebrating our love in a way that feels genuine and deeply personal. While our elopement will be an intimate affair shared only between us and God, we wanted to create this website and extend invites to our wedding shower to include our loved ones in the journey leading up to our special day. We are thrilled to embark on this next chapter of our lives, and we look forward to sharing stories and photos from our adventure with all of you.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Thank you for your interest in our wedding registry! Please know that your love and support is the only thing we could ask for! If you do wish to celebrate with a gift, we have chosen to set up a cash fund registry (which can be found under the "Registry" tab on this site) instead of a traditional registry to allow us the flexibility of using the contributions towards experiences and future plans that are meaningful to us. We kindly request that our guests refrain from gifting alcohol.
