We met as a couple of nerdy teenagers in theatre class, quickly becoming fast friends as we joked around in the wings and bonded over our shared love of acting. Eventually, Anna’s year-and-a-half-long crush on Ryan turned into a relationship, one that has only grown stronger over the past seven years. Graduating from high school, then the University of North Texas, and stepping into full-time jobs came with their fair share of challenges. Through those struggles, many successes, and the transition into adulthood, growing together as a team has been the greatest privilege we’ve shared. In November 2024, Ryan knew the time was right to ask the most important question. The perfectly planned moment took place outside the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, after an hour-and-a-half concert by Anna’s favorite musical group of all time, Seventeen (a K-pop group… like we said, nerds). The only answer was ever going to be “yes.” Two cats, hundreds of Dr Peppers, and thousands of hours of video games later, we are beyond excited to finally celebrate and cement our love alongside all of our friends and family.
