A room block has been set up at Mountain Shadows. This resort is directly across the street from the wedding venue and where the Bride and Groom will be staying. Room Rate: $289 + $35 Resort Fee* Rate may be extended 3 days on either side of the wedding date based on availability *Resort Fee Includes: Overnight valet parking, complimentary transportation in a Tesla Model X (seats up to 5) to nearby restaurants and attractions, preferred tee times at The Short Course, golf club rentals at The Short Course with paid green fees, and complimentary access to The Short Course putting green. There are two ways you can book a room: 1) Call Group Reservations at 877-587-6981 and mention Moodey & McDermott Wedding 2) Go to the hotel's website mountainshadows.com a. Enter stay dates & click Book Your Stay b. On top right corner click Enter Code c. Under Optional Codes, Enter Group Code “MoodeyMcDermott2020” d. Click Apply Changes and it will pull up the bookable rooms

Besides the room block at Mountain Shadows, there are many other hotels conveniently located near the venue. Air BNB is also a popular option in the Valley. Any accommodations in Paradise Valley or the Old Town/Downtown Scottsdale, Arcadia or Biltmore neighborhoods are a short and inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride away. Airport Options

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX): This is the main airport in Phoenix. All major airlines fly into this location and it is conveniently located in the center of town. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA): This is an airport on the outskirts of the Valley, serving smaller airlines such as Allegiant, Swoop and WestJet. It is 36 miles away from the venue or a 45 - 60 minute drive.

Rental Car

Getting Around Town

A car is needed to get to most activities and restaurants around town. All major rental car companies are based out of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. However, renting a car is by no means necessary as Uber and Lyft have a large presence in the area. It is always quick and easy to get a ride through one of the ride share apps.
