We're getting married!

It was the summer after freshman year of college. Molly's friend, Libby, wanted to go to a bonfire to see a boy. She dragged Molly along saying, "you should meet my friend, Kevin." Ryan happened to tag along with his brother to the same party. About 10 minutes after getting to the party, Molly told Libby, "forget Kevin! I want that Ryan guy!" Thankfully, Libby is the ultimate wing-woman, and helped make sure Ryan got Molly's phone number. The rest of that summer was spent snapchatting and texting, like the typical young teenagers they were. When they finally got back to Michigan State and spent about a month hanging out, Ryan asked Molly to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history.

For Ryan's 27th birthday, Molly planned a hiking trip with some friends and siblings. Little did she know, Ryan had plans of his own. Ryan and Molly both went through a lot of work to pull this weekend off! With some of our friends not being able to make it to the Airbnb getting canceled at the last minute, Molly was working hard to make sure the weekend would still be special for Ryan's birthday. Ryan, on the other hand, was working to ask Molly's parents for their blessing, hiding the ring, and preparing to ask the big question. On Saturday, November 7th, Ryan and Molly, along with a few of their close friends and family members set out to go hiking. It was a beautiful sunny day and everyone was excited about the day! Of course, the trails were all packed with people. The whole time Ryan and Andi, Molly's sister, were trying to find a good private spot for Ryan to pop the question. Finally, after hiking for a few hours, Ryan found a the perfect spot. He got down on one knee and asked Molly to give him the best birthday gift ever. Molly, who of course was sobbing the whole time, answered absolutely, yes!
