Let's "I Do" This Thing.

Ryan and Kalli's love story begins like every true fairy tale: at a bar. The two met on a Thursday night out in college. After hitting it off, Kalli whispered to her friend that she had met her next boyfriend. So, naturally, they left without getting each other's numbers or even the other's last name. But hey, every fairy tale has its glass slipper. Kalli woke up the next morning frustrated....because she had a mandatory 8 AM class she couldn't miss. She spent the whole lecture wondering who the mystery man was from the night before. Afterwards, it would (almost literally) hit her square in the face when the two passed each other in the hallway. Like two people destined to be together, they stared one another square in the eyes, didn't muster a single word, and continued on with their morning. Serendipity wasn't going to give up so easily. Kalli scrolled through Instagram on her bus ride back to her college apartment and stumbled across a photo from the night before of a mutual friend with Ryan. BOOM: their redeeming glass slipper. He didn't have an account of his own, but anyone who knows a millennial girl knows that a simple connection is all she needs to find out just about anything about anyone. Thanks, Internet! Kalli quickly learned that Ryan had been working at her favorite college bar all along. That weekend, after mustering some liquid courage, she went up to him and re-introduced herself. They spent the night picking up where they had left off. This time, Ryan was determined to not let her get away again. He put his number in her phone before she left. Soon after, he asked her on their first date. On December 26, 2013, Kalli's prediction from the night they met became true. Four and a half years, three cities, one puppy, and lots of laughs, memories and Chipotle burrito bowls later, Ryan proposed on July 6, 2018. The couple can't wait to start their new chapter as husband and wife, and celebrate with their closest friends and family in September!
