Things To Do

As excited as we were to see you in June, we have decided to put our banquet on hold until further notice. Since the COVID crisis is unpredictable, we don't want to pick a new date until we are sure it will be safe for everyone. We will be in touch when the future is more clear (and give you plenty of time to plan). Here are some local things to do, see, and EAT! Scroll to the bottom for our bonus restaurant spreadsheet.

If you are confused by how cosmopolitan Dallas is, head over to Fort Worth. Here you visit the Stockyards or go to a rodeo. The art museum and botanical gardens are also worth a visit.

Pecan Lodge

Pecan Lodge

2702 Main Street, Dallas, TX 75226

Our favorite Texas barbeque spot, located in Deep Ellum. There's also a cute pie shop next door. FAVORITES: Brisket, beef rib (if available) PRO TIP: There will be a wait. You can skip to the express line if you order 5+ pounds, so try to go with a group. The trough is a good way to sample several items.
