These are only some of the fun places to visit and eat at around Boston and Worcester. One or both of us liked each of the places we have here, but there are plenty more. The best resource to find even MORE great places is obviously the internet.
Boston Common
139 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02111, (617) 635-4505
Like Central Park in Manhattan, but better, because...Boston.
The Prints and the Potter Gallery
142 Highland Street, Worcester, MA 01609, (508) 752-2170
Lindsey's absolute favorite gift shop (heavily influenced by her parents, of course)! Everything here is handmade and local!
Sichuan Gourmet
271 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01701, (508) 626-0347
The Lin's favorite Chinese food joint NOT in Chinatown. Yes, this mean it's authentic.
Samuel Adams Boston Brewery
30 Germania Street, Boston, MA 02130, (617) 368-5080
Right in Lindsey and Ming's backyard. Lindsey doesn't like beer, which means Ming never gets to go. But that doesn't mean you can't!
Armsby Abbey
144 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01608, (508) 795-1012
We don't venture out to Worcester too often, but when we do, this is a great spot for some food and a drink or three.
Tougas Family Farm
234 Ball Street, Northborough, MA 01532, (508) 393-6406
If you have a refrigerated truck, or a place close by, there are lots of berries to be picked during the summer months! Handpicked taste better than supermarket bought, usually.
Mount Wachusett
Princeton, MA 01541
Lindsey and Ming love to hike in the summer and fall. If it's not too hot, and you brought your hiking boots, Wachusett is a great little mountain to hike. Up to the top and down will take you less than 3 hours!
Downeast Cider House
256 Marginal Street, Boston, MA 02128, (857) 301-8881
Cider is something of a go to for Lindsey. If you want to learn a little bit more behind the science AND manufacturing process of one of the most popular local ciders, check out Downeast and take a tour!
Minado Restaurant
1282 Worcester Street, Natick, MA 01760, (508) 647-0495
Hungry? Like seafood? Then this is the perfect place to eat. Also the perfect place for a "Man-Date." Patrick and Ming can attest to how great this place is for two growing boys (men?) to share a meal.
The Queen's Cups
56 Water Street, Worcester, MA 01604, (508) 459-9600
Who doesn't like cupcakes? We LOVE them, which is why we will be having cupcakes at our wedding, likely from this place. We haven't actually tried them yet, but their creations look amazing on Instagram, so they MUST be good.
Moody’s Delicatessen & Provisions
468 Moody Street, Waltham, MA 02453, (781) 216-8732
Charcuterie and cured meats can be found anywhere. This place makes them into art. In your mouth. Of course they have other things too that taste good.
Lone Star Taco Bar
479 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02134, (617) 782-8226
Lone Star is the location of the fateful brunch on their first date. If you'd like to relive Lindsey and Ming's first date sans the 9-mile run, this is the place to go!
