Where and when is the ceremony? The reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be at The Cove. A reception to follow at Gorges Beer Co. Transportation is required for all guests due to the remote location of the ceremony. Please park at 3 PM in the Columbia Lot in Hood River. Shuttle buses will be departing at 3:15 sharp. Columbia Lot is a large parking lot across from Full Sail Brewing (off of Columbia Street). Parking is free on Sundays.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is semi-formal. We love color! When picking your outfits, please AVOID the following: jeans, solid black and white. *disclaimer* This is a wedding created by Julia, so keep in mind, the ceremony setting is on rugged terrain on an isthmus overlooking the Columbia River (uneven, grassy, dirt), so choose the height of your shoes accordingly.

Are kids invited? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we love your littles, we want our wedding guests to have a relaxing and responsibility free weekend, full of celebration, great beer and dancing! In effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

What are the accommodations?

Answer

Book early! The Hood River area unfortunately does not offer hotel blocks. There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs to choose from. Our favorites are The Westcliff Lodge, Columbia Cliff Villas Hotel and Hampton Inn & Suites are all right on the river!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Please start the party with us at Ferment Brewing on Saturday, June 13th at 5 PM. A buffet style dinner and drinks provided. Additional Events: Refer to the events page for further details and other events to join the newlyweds.
