4801 Shoreline Hwy, Elk, CA 95432. Roth Ranch is right off the Hwy 1, just a few minutes outside of the Elk town center. If you're driving to the venue (instead of taking our shuttle), the turn is a little sneaky but it will be well marked. Once you make the turn, you'll drive up the hill until you come to the big open field and you will be guided to parking.
Yes! There is ample parking at the venue. But we have hired a shuttle to take you to and from our wedding. The Hwy 1, while stunningly beautiful, is extremely curvy and potentially dangerous after a few glasses of wine. We care about your safety, please consider taking the shuttle provided, assign a DD, or CAMP WITH US!
Please arrive at 4:00 pm, grab a refreshing beverage, and make your way to the ceremony site. Our venue is an expansive plot of land, so upon arrival you will be at the reception site. The ceremony site is a short, 5 minute walk (up a gently sloped hill). Don't worry there will be signs and ushers to lead the way. We would like every one to be settled in their seats for a prompt 4:30 ceremony start time.
Suggested attire is: Dressy Outdoor Wedding. Meaning...we'd like ya to look nice! But don't feel like you have to bust out your black tie, or shine your shoes. We're at a barn for Pete's sake!
Historically, September is a warm month on the Northern California coast, so we have our fingers crossed for an epic "Indian Summer" evening. That being said - this is an outdoor wedding, on the coast, so expect a cool ocean breeze. While there will be ample heat sources plotted around - its gonna get chilly when the sun goes down. Bring a light jacket or shawl.
We encourage our guests to camp on our land for the night! This is where all the late night fun will go down. Dancing till dawn, campfire stories, sing alongs, star gazing, a midnight walk to the beach...the possibilities are endless. If you've got a twinge of adventure in ya, CAMP WITH US! If you are a Northern California local, please bring your own camping gear. Make sure you pack layers as it will get chilly. If you are traveling by plane, want to camp, but don't want to pack your gear... please reach out to us about securing camping gear. We are able to scrounge up a slew of camping gear...on a first come first serve basis.
Saturday September 30th from 11 am - 2 pm When we have a solid list of folks who are camping on site, we will share with you the contact information of our Camp Monitor so you can arrange details with him during this window of time.
