FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mariah Villanueva and William Sommers
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online by May 24th, 2026. Please do so even if you can't make it so we can start missing you immediately.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this celebration is intended as an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements so you can join us for a relaxed day of food, drinks, and celebration.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We've listed hotels in the North Hills and North Shore areas on our Travel page for your convenience. Both areas offer easy access to downtown Pittsburgh for exploring the city, as well as North Park, where we'll be hosting our BBQ.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not really! If you'd like, we'd love to see your favorite tv show, movie, video game, or even book, though! Wear a shirt, hat, jewelry, makeup, or anything else inspired by your favorite work.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is not available directly at the event site. Guests should plan to use nearby North Park parking areas and take a short walk to the celebration. We recommend parking in the following order of proximity: 1. East Ingomar Road loop near North Park Cabin: Very close parking area with a short walk to the event space 2. Spillway Lot (Babcock Blvd & Pearce Mill Rd): Larger lot approximately a 5–10 minute walk away and a reliable overflow option 3. North Park Swimming Pool lot: Largest nearby parking area, approximately a 10–15 minute walk to the event site Parking is first-come, first-served across all areas, and availability may vary.

Question

What's a Pittsburgh cookie table?

Answer

A Pittsburgh cookie table is a wedding (and celebration) tradition where friends and family bake and bring homemade cookies to share. Instead of a traditional dessert course, guests enjoy a large spread of cookies - often dozens of varieties - made with love and shared communally. For more info and / or to sign up to contribute, see our Sign-Ups tab.
