Question
What documents do I need to travel?
Answer
You will need a VALID passport to travel to/from Mexico. Please check the expiration date of your passport prior to booking. If you need to renew, we recommend starting the process ASAP. Customs has been experiencing longer than usual turn-around times (up to 4-5 months). Don't forget the wedding is in November 2022!

Are there COVID travel requirements?
Answer
As of July 2022, you do not need a COVID test/vaccine to travel between the US and Mexico. This means that you will not need to test before either flight. We will update this periodically as the guidance changes, but the latest travel restrictions/requirements can always be found on the CDC website.

Is the water in Mexico safe to drink?
Answer
The tap water is NOT safe to drink (so please don't, you'll probably get sick). All water served at the resort (at bars and restaurants) is bottled. The bars will provide you with bottles as requested (they are also in the mini-bars in the rooms), and the water provided in glasses at restaurants are also bottled. You can also use the bottled water to brush your teeth, etc. if you choose.

Which airport should I fly into?
Answer
Cancun International Airport (CUN) is the closest airport to our resort. As noted in the travel section, round-trip transportation to/from the airport is included in the room rates.

What if I choose not to stay at the wedding resort (Dreams Riviera Cancun)?
Answer
It is recommended that all guests stay at the wedding resort in order to be included in all of the events and to maximize our time together :) However, if you choose not to, your pass options are listed below: - Full Day Wedding Pass: Valid from 9.00 AM to 11.00 PM $85 USD for adults and $35 USD for kids - Wedding Pass (Valid from 30 min before the ceremony and open for 5 hours): $65 USD for adults, $35 USD for kids. - Morning Day Pass (Valid from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm): $65 USD for adults, $35 USD for kids. - Afternoon Day Pass (Valid from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am) $65 USD for adults, $35 USD for kids. At a minimum, passes would be required for the wedding day (ceremony to begin at 4:00 PM) and the rehearsal dinner (8:00 PM - 10:00 PM on 11/12/2022).

Can we book our travel separate from the travel agency?
Answer
In order to receive the discounted room rates, be included in the wedding events, and receive free round-trip transportation to/from the airport - all hotel reservations MUST be booked through our travel agent, Sarah Kline. The booking process is described in the "Travel" section. Airfare does not need to be booked with the travel agent :)

Unfortunately not, the wedding events will be adults only. Enjoy some time off!

If your Save the Date/Invitation says "and Guest," then yes :)
