Ryan and Courtney first met briefly in 2009 at Courtney's workplace. In 2018, Ryan met up with Courtney again at church and the two became friends. At the end of 2022, Ryan and Courtney became more than friends as they started dating, then became future husband and wife on Valenetine's Day when Ryan proposed.
