Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and that women wear a dress or dressy separates. It is noted that the wedding will be taking place outdoors in the grass. Please dress with appropriate footwear (i.e. wide heels, wedges, etc.). The bridal party will be wearing sage green dresses and grey suits.

How do I RSVP to the wedding?

Answer

Please scan the QR code on the invitation or visit the "RSVP" section of our wedding website to RSVP to the event. You will be able to RSVP for yourself and other guests in your party. If you have difficulty finding your name please reach out to Jake or Tara.

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 28, 2024. Anyone who has not responded by this date will be considered an automatic "no." Please reach out to Jake or Tara if you have any concerns regarding your ability to use the online RSVP form.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes. We will be providing transportation to Elk Lake from the Hotel Anthracite located in Carbondale. See our "travel" page for details on how to book a room in the hotel block at the Hotel Anthracite.

Will the wedding be held outdoors?

Answer

Yes. The wedding is being held outdoors on a private property. There will be a tent covering tables and the dance floor.

Is there a rain plan?

Answer

The wedding will be held outdoors at Elk Lake, rain or shine! Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure that the wedding can take place entirely under the tent if need be.

Can we come to the property earlier in the day?

Answer

We kindly ask that all friends and family members arrive to the property after 4 o'clock to ensure that the proper setup can take place before the event.
