Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is formal, emphasizing elegance. Men are encouraged to wear suits and ties, while women should wear long dresses in colors other than black or white. The ceremony will be held in a Catholic church, so please be mindful of this as well!

Question

What should I expect during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass, lasting about an hour and including prayers, readings, and Communion. We’ll provide a guide to help everyone participate comfortably. Your presence, support, and prayers are truly appreciated, no matter your background.

Question

What if I'm not Catholic?

Answer

All are welcome to the celebration of Holy Mass. Catholics believe that the Holy Eucharist (Communion) is the very Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Because receiving Communion is a public sign of unity in faith and acceptance of the Church’s teachings, it is reserved to Catholics who are properly disposed and in a state of grace. Our brothers and sisters of other faiths are invited to come forward to receive a blessing from the priest instead, indicating this by crossing their arms over their chest.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 3:30 pm, and we request guests to arrive by 3:15 at the latest.

Question

How far is the church from the reception venue?

Answer

Our reception is a forty-five-minute drive from the church - the perfect amount of time to play your New York Times games and chat about the beautiful ceremony (and bride). Drinks, food, and dancing await!

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

Our cocktail hour begins at 5:30pm. Since most guests will go directly from the ceremony to the reception, please head straight to the venue afterward. If you're only attending the reception and cannot make it to the ceremony, please arrive by 5:30 pm. You might be among the first guests, but the bar will be open, and food will be served, so enter as soon as you arrive!
