Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB)
Victoria volunteered with children and adults living with blindness and visual impairment through CNIB from 2016 to 2021. CNIB provides programs and services that support independent living, accessible technology, employment, recreation, and community connection for Canadians who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. In memory of Jean Engholm (1932-2025).
Canadian Red Cross
Ryan volunteered with the Canadian Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program from 2015 to 2021. Through its Health Equipment Loan Program, the Canadian Red Cross helps individuals recover safely at home by providing short-term access to mobility aids and medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and hospital beds.
