What if I’m sick?

Answer

If you are sick, or are unsure if you’re sick, please plan to stay home and get some good rest! As much as we’d love to celebrate with you, and will miss you there, your health and wellbeing are important to us! We would also like to limit exposure for others.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 3:00pm to allow time to settle in. The ceremony will start at 3:30pm!

Where did “Tamsen” come from?

Answer

Ryan and Taylin have decided to legally change their last names to Tamsen, (TAMura & hanSEN) and start their own tradition!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding venue has a lovely garden and since we plan for an outdoor ceremony, spring colors, floral patterns, and lighter colors are encouraged, but please wear anything you feel comfortable in! (No white please!) Flowy dresses, suits, button ups, ect. We want you all to have fun dressing up with us while still being comfortable! We also recommend bringing a light jacket in case it gets colder in the evening. Also, again, please no white, co-maid of honor Kadee will be on the look out ;) Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Why Thursday?

Answer

Good question! We understand that a weekday evening wedding is unconventional, however we hope you will all enjoy the excuse to celebrate on a Thursday! Thursdays are a special day of the week for us! For the past few years we have both had every Friday off. Thursday feels like our true last day of the week, Thursdays are our Fridays! We were engaged on a Thursday (May 22nd, 2025) as well. We are also honored to one day share the same wedding anniversary as Taylin’s parents, who have been one of many inspirational examples of love in both of our lives. Lastly we want everyone to have a blast and we will be able to plan more fun things with a weekday budget!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we’d love to include more people, we do have a limited amount of guest space. Plus ones will be indicated on your invitations, if you feel we missed someone please reach out and let us know!

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a big lot with plenty of space!
