FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ryan Stone and Stephanie Porter
If you have any other questions other than what we cover here, feel free to reach out to Ryan or Stephanie! We are happy to help!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As we need to get final counts to our venue, please RSVP through the RSVP tab on our website by August 15th, 2026. If we do not get an RSVP back by this date, it will be marked as "no". We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we must provide a total guest count to our venue in the timeline they have prepared for us and therefore cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope you understand!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is through Zola and can be found under the registry tab on our website!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only event, with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 o'clock in the evening, please arrive no later than 3:45 to give yourself time to find a seat!

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

Please park in the North parking lot and enter the gardens through the Vistor's Center. Signage should get you the rest of the way!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be cocktail attire. Think suits, midi or floor-length dresses, and jumpsuits. We know that Midwest weather is very hard to predict, so we recommend checking the weather leading up to the wedding day, to more accurately gauge if jackets will be needed. Ladies, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place in the gardens, so please keep that in mind while choosing shoes! We kindly ask guests to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

A hotel block will be set up shortly! More information can be found under the "Travel" section on our website!
