Maid of Honor
Sarah is my big sister. The sweetest most organized person I know (she gets it from our mom). The evening of my first date with Ryan I called her the second I got home to let her know that one day I was going to marry Ryan!. Our mother is not here but I know she would be proud that Sarah willingly took on this important role. I’m sure she’s watching from above 🥰
Bridesmaid
Mercedes is my little sister. I would have saved more for this wedding but she's the one that encourages my starbucks and target habit. She’s is also the amazing mom to my niece Elena who is our flower girl 🥰
Bridesmaid
Debbie is my BFC! best friend cousin! we're each others hypeman in any setting.
Bridesmaid
Tiffany is my oldest sweetest friend since middle school! I'm so happy to still have her in my life.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is Ryan's older sister who later accompanied us on our first date lol She’s surprises me with food. I like that haha.
Bridesmaid
Rhea is Ryan's younger sister. I never thought I'd meet someone who loves crafting as much as I do so that’s pretty fun 🤩
Best Man
Aaron and I met when I was attending Cal Poly SLO. I was close friends with his sister, Lori Ann, and she said I reminded her of her brother. When we finally met, I saw why. We have similar interests and characteristics, and are very funny:) Ever since, we've been great friends! Aaron's always been there for me through the good and the bad, and I am truly grateful for that. He always makes sure I have a full shot of Hennessy ready, which is all you can ask for in a Best Man. Also, he always comes up with the craziest bets, and I always seem to lose (toe shots, rotten bananas and oranges, shot of whatever is in the fridge, wear crazy socks in our basketball game, wear Zaa's clothes to walk the dog, and the worse, wear Lakers gear, just to name a few)…. yup, I lost the bets a lot!
Groomsman
Stephen is my older sister, Rachel's, husband. We first met when they started dating back when I lived in San Francisco with my aunt. She brought him over so I can meet him, and I was like, who is this Mexican dude that races cars and wears racer jackets (he's Filipino by the way). Then one day we hung out just us two, going to Japan Town in SF, and that's when I knew we would click forever. Now, he's one of the guys I consider a brother. I appreciate all he does for my sister and his kids, and for our family in general. I know he'll always have my back whether it's late nights playing Halo or taking shots through FaceTime.
Groomsman
Dom is my little sister, Rhea's, husband. Not sure when exactly we first met. The memory I have of him is when he sang at Rhea's Cotillion, and he had cornrows. I was like, who does this dude think he is being Filipino with cornrows.....then I ended up having cornrows later down the road lol! I consider Dom a brother now, and like Stephen, I appreciate all he does for my sister, their kids, and our family. Whenever we get together, it's always talking sports, investing, taking shots, and having a jam session (by jam session, i mean watching him and his friends jam lol). I am better than him in Street Fighter though, just throwing that out there!
Groomsman
Alex and I first met when I applied to be a dealer (card dealer, not drug dealer, just in case it wasn't clear). He is the owner of the company and interviewed me. Yes, I was late to the interview, but he still decided to hire me. I mean, who wouldn't! That was back in 2012. 4 years later, Aces Up Casino Parties needed a new Sales Director. I applied, made the interview on time this time, Alex interviewed me, and I got the position! Ever since then, I worked with Alex more closely and it was just me and him for awhile running the whole company. We got close, and he was the only one I was talking to and hanging out with for awhile. He's been there for me through some troubling times, and gave me sound advice (but not fantasy football advice, he sucks, and he's a Packers fan!).
Groomsman
Kevin and I met playing basketball through Aaron. Aaron brought him to an open run because we were trying to form a basketball team, and we wanted to see how everyone plays. Kevin told me that he didn't like me at first because Aaron told him I was good (all though I think I'm ok), and Kevin wanted to be better than me (which he is!). We ended up forming a team called Entourage, and the rest was history. Kevin and I got close through this, and had multiple hang outs after games. FYI, don't play Kevin in Ping Pong! My best memory of him is when we took on a full team of 10 dudes with just 4 of us, and almost won. It was epic. Also, don't mention getting home to the dogs to him because he will say F the dogs (JK, Hennessy may have factored in here)
Groomsman
I met Ajay through basketball as well. He was another person who attended the open run to see if we can form a team. Of course, we did, and Entourage was made. We also got close through Entourage with the multiple after game hang outs. My best memory of him as well was when we took on that army of a team with just 4 of us (Aaron, Ajay, Kevin, and me), and almost won! Think that bonded all of us for life! Ajay is my fellow gambler, who always plays dice (ghetto craps) with me at all the functions. He is always down to gamble, and he drinks Hennessy like me..... A match made in Heaven. It also helps that he is higher on Aarons' "people I make fun of list" than me.
Officiant
Zaa is Aaron's wife (and was almost the Best Woman). Ryan met her through him of course. When they first met, it was at Aaron's house, and they instantly clicked. She was definitely like one of the homies because she was in on the jokes with Aaron on Ryan instantly. From there, Ryan knew that Aaron and her would be together forever, and he and her would be close. Through multiple poker nights, drinking sessions, and sleepovers, it just solidified the relationship. Fast forward to when Sommer came into the picture.....Ryan was forgotten, and Zaa and Sommer instantly clicked. They are literally 2 peas in a pod, making fun of their significant others, but being soooooooo lucky to have them. Bad Girl Zay Zay had to be included (even though math is not her strongest attribute).
Honor Attendant
Jose is my older brother. On this very special day he is taking the role of our dad in walking me down the isle with our dad watching from above.
Flower Girl
Elena is my sassy niece! she has a super important role which I'm sure she'll put on a good show.
