~ How We Met ~ We met at a Catholic Speed Dating event at St. Kieran Church, where we will be getting married this August. Simone's Viewpoint: I first saw Ryan in the parking lot at St. Kieran's as we were the first ones to arrive there that night. I looked over and thought "who is that?" I didn't want to stare too long so I headed inside. I later heard him talking behind me, although I didn't know it was Ryan at the time. I thought "whoever that voice belongs to sounds like a happy-go-lucky guy." When he sat down next to me and we got to talk to each other during the speed dating round, I felt there was something special about him and that it was easy to talk to him ever since that moment. Ryan's Viewpoint: I first noticed Simone in the parking lot at St. Kieran's Church. I looked over and was hoping that I'd get to talk to this girl. Once I got inside, I saw she was already in a conversation and figured I'd wait my turn. Once I did get to talk to her, I felt there was something special about her too, and I knew I wanted to get to know her more. Once the round was over, she came up to me, and I asked if she was going to go to the after-party at the bar because I wanted to go. She ended up coming and sat next to me. We talked the whole night and connected ever since. Both Our Viewpoints: We are so happy that we met at church and feel that God had a big hand in bringing us together at the right time in our lives. ~ How We Knew We Found the One ~ We both felt that we found our positive life partner in one another. We love spending time together from pasta and pierogi making, to dancing, to supporting each other, to always communicating, to spending time with our family and friends together, and to watching Capri find his fur papa. We are so excited for our future life together and to celebrate this next chapter of our journey with you.
