Although the ceremony will be held in a garden setting, stilettos are not recommended due to the grassy areas. Recommend platform heels to avoid sinking into the grass. Q: What’s the weather like in April? A: April is typically warm and dry in Boracay, with temperatures ranging from 77°F to 90°F (25°C to 32°C). We suggest bringing sun protection and staying hydrated.

*Please refer to the Travel Guide on the "Travel" page.* Q: What’s the best way to get to Boracay? A: We recommend flying into Caticlan Airport (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport) for the shortest transfer to the island. Airlines like Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines offer daily flights from Manila to Caticlan. From there, Shangri-La provides a private, seamless transfer service, including land and sea transportation directly to the resort. Please refer to our "Travel" page for booking links to various airlines. Q: Do I need to arrange my own transfers from the airport? A: Shangri-La offers a convenient transfer package that includes land and boat transfers from Caticlan Airport to the resort. Once you’ve booked your stay at Shangri-La, the resort will coordinate your land and boat transfers directly. If you choose to stay at another hotel or Airbnb, you’ll be responsible for arranging your own transfers. For more details, please visit the “Travel” page.

You can explore options and book activities through their official website or concierge service. Q: What activities are available outside the resort? A: Boracay is full of exciting experiences beyond Shangri-La! You can enjoy island hopping tours, sunset sailing (paraw), snorkeling and diving, ATV rides, paddleboarding, jet skiing, and shopping and nightlife. Local tour operators are available across the island, and we recommend arranging activities in advance or asking your hotel concierge for trusted options.

Major credit cards are accepted at most establishments, but it's advisable to carry some cash for smaller vendors & tips. Q: Are there ATMs on the island? A: Yes, there are several ATMs in Boracay, but we recommend withdrawing cash upon arrival at the airport or in Manila to avoid any inconvenience.
