I met Kristine way back in, what was it, 2008?? At the time, she was my brother's (Mark), girlfriend. They dated for about a year, broke up & got back together in like, I don't know, 2010?? (I could be super wrong with these dates, haha!) but what I do know is she has been there for me for my highest highs and my lowest lows. We started off kinda rocky, I threatened to run her over with my car if she ever hurt my brother (but what big sister doesn't say that?). Over the years, we have grown closer and closer together. She has been someone I could count on to hit up a happy hour, take a random road trip or pick up Gavin from school cuz his eye itches (which happens a lot apparently). I am so thankful to have her by my side from one of mine & Ryan's first dates (literally they were there), to helping plan our engagement, & now our wedding. Being surrounded by all brothers my whole life, I'm so happy to have a sissy like her in my life now.

"I hated her when I first met her" - the infamous line from almost every set of besties. Sheila and I met our sophomore year in high school, prior to our "meeting", we always knew of each other but never actually talked to each other, but of course, hated each other (girls really were like that in high school). That year, we had Health Class together, but sat on opposite sides of the class. One day, walking to a pep rally, Sheila walked up to me and said "Are you going to the pep rally?"... and we've been BESTIES ever since! Besties since we were 15! Most of my life has been spent with her! We have literally grown up together, from high school to nursing school, from boyfriends to husbands, from single life to mom life. We are the epitome of "we listen and we don't judge". Sheila has been there for me through so many moments in my life, I couldn't have asked for a better bestie! Having her by my side, on our big day, I couldn't imagine it any other way!
