Breakfast and Coffee
Cafe Borrone (1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA 94025): Sara's favorite spot since high school for coffee, breakfast and lunch! The Posh Bagel (869 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025): A fan favorite spot for bagels! Joanie's Cafe (405 California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94306): A popular breakfast spot in Palo Alto. Get there early as the line gets long! The Farmers' Market on Sunday's is on the same street and fun to walk around. Steam (209 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301): A favorite for dim sum located in the heart of Downtown Palo Alto.
Lunch and Dinner
Palo Alto Creamery (566 Emerson Street, Palo Alto, CA 94301): Retro-style diner in downtown Palo Alto. This is where we went on our first date! Burma Love (1302 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA 94025): Delicious Burmese cuisine nearby the wedding hotels. Rossotti’s Alpine Inn (3915 Alpine Road, Portola Valley, CA 94028): A fun and rustic beer garden in Portola Valley with great food and drinks.
Activities
Stanford Dish (400 Reservoir Road, Stanford, CA 94305): This hike has beautiful sweeping views of the Bay. On a clear day you can see all the way from San Francisco and San Jose. Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University (328 Lomita Drive, Stanford, CA 94305): The collection spans 5,000 years and includes more than 42,000 works of art from around the globe. The renowned collection of Rodin bronze sculpturesh are displayed inside the museum as well as in the spectacular outdoor Rodin Sculpture Garden. Admission is free and free public tours are offered. Stanford University (450 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305): Stanford University is one of the world's best teaching and research universities. Take a self-guided tour of this beautiful campus, complete with gorgeous gardens and Rodin sculptures.
Shopping
Stanford Shopping Center (660 Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto, CA 94304): Get some shopping in and grab a bite at one of the delicious restaurants. Town & Country Village (855 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94301): Upscale mall with shopping and eateries walking distance from Stanford University.
