Maid of Honor
Jordan is from Texas and like they say, everything is bigger in Texas -- Jordan's heart is proof of that. I met Jordan at an Emporia hornet connection, which is basically when the freshmen have an orientation and hope and pray that they will meet a person they can suffer through college with. We didn't talk until the very end of the day, but I knew that I had met a lifelong friend. Through all of college, we laughed and cried, made 2AM Taco Bell/McDonald's runs, and joked about being at the same retirement home one day. I have never met a more considerate, kind-hearted, and intelligent person, and I was happy to ask her to be my Maid of Honor.
Captain of the Maids
Ever my backbone, Makenzie pushes me to be better in so many ways. Colorguard coach? Done. Show binging buddy? You got it. Personal GSD (get stuff done) consultant? She's there. That's why I couldn't just name her bridesmaid. Makenzie is there to keep me level-headed and down to earth. We met in middle school, but our friendship didn't really take off until college, when we were floormates! We made it a point to get Sonic on Sundays right before Once Upon a Time. It's not surprising then that we now live in a townhouse together! Her with her husband, and me with my soon-to-be. She shows me time and again that she is fierce, loyal, and strong, but also incredibly helpful (when she wants to be ;)).
Bridesmaid
You know you have that one friend that seems to always come back, after every hard time? That's Nicole. We were friends in middle school, then we drifted, then we got right back together in college! Nicole is unique and special to me because we share similar goals to being authors and no one can quite understand that hardship as well as her. Where Jordan is my listener, Mak is my push, Nicole is my conscience. She is always offering the opposite to the situation, as a means to be considerate of all sides. She is the most integrity-driven, passionate, positive person I know -- her words of encouragement, strong advice, and heartwarming sense of humor gives me inspiration and fuels me with my own passion.
Bridesdude
Clever, knowledgeable, sensitive, caring. There's a lot of words I can use to describe Matt and I still don't think I could cover them all. If you ever need a laugh, he's a master of puns and play on words. When I was trying to come up with a wedding hashtag for over two months, he whipped one up in 5 minutes that we'll be using! If I need to gush about a show, he's either watched it and gush with me, or heard about it and can offer his insight on it! He never shies away from helping another person out and he's typically the first to reach out a hand and to let you know that you are important and loved. He's also incredibly and indisputably brave and strong. He never ceases to amaze me with what he has overcome.

Flower Girl
The sweetest girl in the world! She was so excited when we asked her to be flower girl, wondering what color flowers she would get to throw and what dress she would be wearing. It will also be this girl's birthday on our wedding day, so be sure to give her a big happy birthday!!!
