There are three airports within the area if you plan to fly. - Richmond International Airport (RIC) is located 61 miles (1 hour drive) to Yorktown - Norfolk International Airport (ORF) is located 30 miles (depending on traffic, 30 minute to 1 hour drive) to Yorktown - Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) is located 5 miles (15 minute drive) to Yorktown. Even though Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport is close, flight costs are extremely high when compared to other airports. Airlines that fly to the area: - American Airlines - Delta Airlines - United Airlines - Breeze Airways (Non-stop flights from Akron, Buffalo, Tampa to either Norfolk or Richmond) - Frontier Airlines - Spirit Airlines - Southwest Airlines
