We both arrived in Peru in July of 2019 with a group of teachers from our school district in Maryland. Neither of us knew anyone going in. While volunteering at schools during the week, we got to share in excursions and adventures on the weekends. We quickly hit it off and started spending a lot of time together during that month long trip. Upon our return, we started dating in early September of 2019.
