Ryan and Raichel met in November of 2019 at a work lunch. Raichel had to run home before the lunch to change because she forgot about the lunch and was wearing a "Cant Touch This" cactus shirt.... The lunch went without a hitch and unbeknownst to the both of them, was the beginning of a long time friendship and love story.

On the day of the proposal, Ryan and Raichel worked in Wilmington doing electrical work. Ryan kept pushing to go home, Raichel kept pushing to continue working. On the way home, Ryan asked for a favor, for Raichel to make him a coffee. What Raichel didn't know is that Ryan had put the engagement ring in the espresso maker.

Ryan and Raichel have a special love for the 23rd of the month. Many special moments have occurred on the 23rd of different months without any planning. December 23rd, 2021 is their infamous night at a local bar Freddy's... let's just say it involved a lot of alcohol on Ryan's part and Raichel as his wingman. All involved were lucky that the bar stopped karaoke before Ryan had a chance to get on stage! February 23rd - The evening involved a beautiful sunset and Ryan's car getting locked up in the park for the night. September 23rd, 2023 was the day Ryan proposed. The best part was that he didn't even realize it was the 23rd until after he proposed. Ryan and Raichel are looking forward to celebrating the 23rd of November forever.
