Our first date was at Public School House (a brewery designed like a school.. fitting!) where Ryan awkwardly gave Rae a bro-hug. After only a few dates, Raegan was off to Belize and Ryan really wanted to take her to the airport which she thought was kind of weird but couldn't pass up the offer. While in Belize, she drunkenly called him but they ended up talking for hours and she claims that is when she first started to have *some* feelings for Ry. Once state side, Ryan quickly began to win Rae over with sushi dates, taking her flying above Vegas, and getting her favorite- a cookie cake. After only a few months of dating, Raegan was off to Europe for the summer (a trip she planned prior to meeting Ryan). It was then that Ryan did the unimaginable and a small town boy "from the cornfields on IL" got his very first passport. He, for the first time in his adult life, traveled overseas. That trip was truly incredible! We went on a sunset cruise in the romantic city of Prague, swam in the ocean on the coast of Italy, and stayed in a tiny flat with no AC in Austria (talk about getting to know who someone really is quickly). It was in Capri, Italy that she began to realize that Ryan just might be "the one" she had been praying for. Ryan will tell you he knew Raegan was "the one" when he swiped right on Tinder......

As many already know, Ryan and Raegan went to take Christmas card pictures with friends Scott and Nina. It was then while taking pictures, that Ryan asked Raegan to close her eyes. As many do not know, Raegan knew instantly this was it! She was going to open her eyes and he would be down on one knee. After a few seconds he asked her, "what is one thing that you have always wished for?" A ring! she thought, A ring! It was then she felt something painfully hit her chest. Out of shock, she opened her eyes to see the most ADORABLE puppy that she had already met a few months ago! While happy she got the dog of her dreams, she felt silly for thinking he was proposing. Enamored with the softest pup in the world, she did not notice him getting down on one knee with the ring of her dreams.... We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
