Since neither of us use social media much, here's what we've been up to over the years!
Our first picture together, taken on frozen Lake Mendota in Madison
Our first trip together - covid edition!
A road trip from Chicago to Tahoe with National Park camping along the way.
Made it to Lake Tahoe!
Once Covid restrictions lifted, we went on our first trip that required a flight - Seattle! Shenanigan's included kayaking, Chihuly (a UW Madison grad!), and the prettiest baseball game I've ever seen
Saint Augustine - one of the most beautiful, European looking towns you can get in the US. Listened to plenty of Beach Boys on this trip :)
Zip-lining in Asheville
View from top of the tower in Bruge
Mini-Europe in Brussels - a dream for any miniature lover :)
Ryan's first time in Europe - Amsterdam!
Always love the architecture in Europe, the main square in Brussels is one of the best!
Had to have plenty of beer in Munich - starting in Hofbräuhaus München!
Pizza in an old boat that was transformed into a food market in Munich
Families lock up their familial beer steins in the breweries their families have frequented for centuries!
Day trip to Salzburg!
Ryan's first view of the Alps in Salzburg
Ciao Roma!
Channeling our inner Lizzie Mcguire at the Trevi Fountain :)
Colosseum in Rome - one of the World Wonders!
We rented a motorbike and zoomed up and down the Amalfi coast - definitely a bucket list item!
Pompeii
Another Pompeii - you could get lost in there!
Can't go to Rome without stopping in Tuscany
Loved our time in the Azores - a Portugese island that houses the only indoor pineapple plantation!
Azores is known for amazing tea farms as well!
This part of the Azores felt like Jurrasic Park with all the steaming underground vents
Canyoning in the Azores :)
Shakespeare & Co used to be a cool bookstore but now it's a tourist landmark that has an hour long line to get in :( So we did the fake tourist thing and just took pictures in front!
Bon Nuit Paris!
Sacre Coeur - location of John Wick 4's finale!
Sainte Chapelle - we almost missed this gorgeous sight because we thought the dingy windowless first floor was all there was to it.
Not pictured - the insane line, crowd, and pushing necessary to get this close.
Our favorite museum in Paris: Musee D'Orsay!
Our favorite museum in Milwaukee: the Milwaukee Art Museum :) Architecture by Calatrava!
Celebrating the wedding of Kelly and Mason <3
Can't go to Dublin without stopping by the Guinness Storehouse!
Giant's Causeway - location for the cover of Led Zeppelin's House of Holy!
Dunluce Castle
Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh Castle again - we spent most of our time in Edinburgh going to various shows (13 in 3 days!) so didn't get many pictures during our trip :)
Celebrating Stephanie & Rene's wedding in Las Vegas :)
