This hotel is aprox. 15 minutes away by car from Hacienda Los Olivos (our wedding venue). There are VRBO/Airbnb options around Santiago if you want a close stay. Otherwise, there are a lot of hotels in Monterrey (keep in mind the distance, time, and mode of transportation).

This hotel is 5 minutes away by car from Hacienda Los Olivos (our wedding venue). This hotel is right in front of the main plaza in Santiago and there are lots of food options nearby.

Monterrey International Airport (MTY)
It takes approx. 45 min from MTY Airport to our wedding venue (Hacienda Los Olivos). Taxis are available outside of the airport. Ubers are also available to move around in the city.There are rental car options at the airport if you are ok with driving in a foreign country.

Hertz
There are several car rental companies at the airport to choose from (Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, Budget, Thrifty and others). Be mindful that the route from MTY to Santiago takes you through the city. It is highly recommended that you rent a car. Uber is not always available, especially at night. The traffic from Santiago to Monterrey is not bad, but be attentive once you get into the city.

While most establishments accept card, make sure you have some cash available. This is one of the currency exchange houses we suggest, but there are many around the city. We do not recommend currency exchange at the airport (the exchange rate might be lower than in the city).
