We went to the same gym—Crunch Channelside. Ryan commented on Nicole’s Instagram Story, “Same gym 😍.” She replied, “Ooo, found a new gym crush 😉.” Ryan said, “Haha, maybe! Yes, I go there a good amount.” She answered, “If you want to run into each other outside of the gym, that’d be cool too…” After three months of chatting, Ryan finally asked Nicole to brunch and a pool day for their first date that August. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

We went on a Royal Caribbean Utopia of the Seas cruise. After an iconic day of swimming with pigs and another day at Coco Cay in the Bahamas, Ryan popped the question on the final day of the cruise at the Italian restaurant, Giovanni’s, on a private terrace overlooking the boardwalk. Nicole’s mom was present during the proposal, which made it even more special.
