In March of 2020 we set out to hike the Appalachian Trial, from Georgia to Maine. We had been planning this 6 month backpacking trip for over a year. To finish the 2,193 mile trail you must summit Mt Katahdin in Maine. Just before reaching the final summit, after nearly 6 months in the woods, Ryan proposed!
