Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Michelle

Maid of Honor

Nerissa and I are blessed enough to not only be just cousins but also friends. Nerissa and I grew up together riding our bikes and talking about boys! We made each other laugh and we made each other cry, but at the end of the day I always knew I had a true friend. One that I could always count on. Nerissa is an amazing friend, an amazing cousin, an amazing gf, and soon to be an amazing Wife! I am so blessed to share her special day and witness her dreams come true!!!

Paxton

Best Man

Ryan and I never met and became friends. He was literally an answer to prayer and was part of me since before he knew about it. I prayed for him; not for his well being, but for his existence. My six year old self knew what I wanted and I was right. I was blessed with a younger brother who was instantly my best friend. He was a treasure of mine when he was crapping his diapers and not even crawling yet. He was my best friend even if I handed him a Nintendo controller that didn’t work to convince him we were playing games together. He was cool enough that I took him out with friends my same age to play paintball. And this grown man is my best friend who can call me out, disagree, work on projects together, share advice, and love each other endlessly regardless of the situation.

Cammie

Bridesmaid

I met Nerissa when I was just a baby. Honestly. Nerissa is the second smartest person I have ever met (The first is Ryan for stepping up to the plate and marrying my sister). Even though she dropped me on my head when I was little. I still love her. I didn't get a choice on whether or not she was my friend. Because I got something better. A big sister.

Nick

Groomsman

I met Ryan in 2012 when he started going to IUS when he was rushing our fraternity. I was given the distinguished responsibility of being his big brother in the fraternity. From the start it was a perfect match. I had gained one of the most amazing friends I could ever ask for. Over the years I have had the privilege of watching Ryan grow and change into the wonderful man he is today. A lot of that growth was due to one amazing individual. Enter Nerissa. I remember when Ryan told me that he was dating someone. I instantly asked a million questions and wanted to meet her. Soon after that I had the honor of meeting one of my most amazing friends ever. These two have been such and amazing and influential part of my life and I don't know what I would do without them.

Alexis

Bridesmaid

Well, I'm not gonna lie. I am pretty blessed to have Nerissa in my life, all my life. She's like a big sister I never had! From jamming to music in the car, to little shenanigans here and there, to Taco Bell every other day for a whole summer, you could say we have had our adventures. I am so blessed to be here and help out on Nerissa & Ryan's special day.

Mike

Groomsman

Ryan and I met in 2007 at Woodward camp, I worked as a lifeguard and Ryan seemed to work everywhere and know just about everyone. We first bonded over friendly competition while playing guitar hero at the canteen. This was the start of a fast friendship where we pushed each other to be the best we could be in just about every activity we could think of. From BMX to lifting, from football to college, you name it, we always made sure the other was giving it 100% effort every time.

Lily

Bridesmaid

Nerissa and I met through two wonderful brothers and a Mom with a heart of gold. I was very protective of Ryan from the beginning. He is the little brother I have always wanted, I never want him hurt. Mama Do has always told me how she raised such awesome boys that she tried to ensure they felt loved along with positive reinforcement. I’ve gotten to know Nerissa a lot over the past year and this comes naturally to her. She is concerned with others and how or what she can do to make things better for those she cares about in her life. She is in our lives now because she emulates that genuine kindness and hard working, helping attitude. I feel so lucky to have her in my life and so happy for Ryan that he is marrying a strong woman full of such heart. And a great addition to board game nights!

Jake

Groomsman

Ryan is my oldest and dearest friend. He was an answer to prayer. It was 6th grade and I was the new kid. I was the outsider. I tried to make friends but the harder I tried the more I failed. The bullies tormented me to the point of wanting to die rather than go to school. I started bringing a yo-yo to school. I remember practicing some tricks before school when another kid approached me. He asked if he could see my yo-yo to show me a trick. I expected him to steal it or throw it down the hallway, but he didn't. He did a few tricks and gave it back. After that, we were the best of friends. We did tons of stupid stuff together and even got in some physical altercations. No matter what happened, no matter how far life took us, I always knew that he would be my best friend.

Dixie

Olivia

How I met Nerissa and Ryan. My dad came home from work one day saying that he was inviting some friends over from work. Little did I know that we would not only be friends, but family (or siblings). Not only are they friends, but also gaming buddies, hiking partners, sports teachers and all out amazing people that we would spend our late Friday and Saturday nights with for the next 3 years and more.

Weston

Ring Bearer

Weston is Nerissa's nephew. He loves baseball and anything outdoors. He loves spending time with Ryan and our annual Halloween weekend.

Landon

Dog of Honor

Landon is 9 years old. He has been a big part of our family he loves His mommy and daddy. " Daddy would say he loves his mommy more"! Ryan came into Landon's life when he was 4 years old and Landon instantly loved him. He is extremely smart and sometimes too smart for his own good.

Nasus

Dog Of Honor

Nasus is our 3 year old baby he is the happiest dog I know. We rescued him from a organization called Tails of Hope when he was 8 weeks old. He loves to go for walks, playing fetch, and ICE CREAM! He hogs the bed every night and is just down to do what ever we want to do.
