Is there a dress code?

Answer

Saturday: This event will be a more relaxed party environment. We ask for a cocktail dress code. If you would like to participate in tradtional African wear we have provided links. We also encourage you to reach out for more clarity and options. Sunday: We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a classic black tie dress code.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we want you to relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will any part of the weekend be outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on an exposed rooftop on Sunday October 11th. We are expecting mid 60 degree weather. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be in the evening before sunset. In the case of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved indoors. In case of excessive heat there is a cool basement event space accessible during the entire night.
