Myna and Ryan first met in their junior year of high school. They both had theology class during 3rd period, where Ryan first noticed Myna (she "apparently" ignored him). Over the following weeks, their friendship kicked off with a running start. As their relationship grew over the year, Ryan was ready to take their relationship to the next level. Myna, however, was insistent on not dating before going off to college. Look how well that turned out! She realized she would be missing out and finally decided to take the chance on their relationship; the rest is history! Over the past 6 years, they have started to build a wonderful life together, growing immensely as individuals and as a couple. All while having a lot of fun. Together, they have graduated college, joined the workforce, traveled to other countries, ventured on several road trips, did some camping, met some pretty incredible people, and managed to love each other more with each passing day. We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives and cannot wait to celebrate our big day with our favorite people !!

Ryan truly deserves an award for the time and effort he took to plan this proposal. Myna and Ryan had been traveling for two weeks before the proposal in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. They were having the time of their lives seeing all of the beautiful places our country has to offer. While in Montana and Wyoming, Myna was bugging him about when he was going to propose, hoping it would happen before they made it to Idaho. But to her disappointment, he did not propose. Little did she know he had planned the proposal and was waiting for the perfect timing. They made it to McCall, Idaho, where they met up with Myna's family and spent multiple days exploring and wake surfing on the lake! Ryan had planned for months to go on an 8 AM (yes, 8 AM!!) horseback riding adventure. During the ride, Myna did not think he was going to propose (partly because she had looked to see if there was a small box in his pockets, which there wasn't!) When they reached the top of the mountain, there was a beautiful overlook of the lake. Their guide, Sky, looked back and noticed that Ryan's horse was "limping because there was a rock stuck in his hoof." She had both Myna and Ryan dismount from their horses; this was when Ryan dropped to one knee and asked Myna to marry him. What made it even better was finding out that Ryan's parents had driven all the way to Idaho to celebrate and were hiding in McCall for two days before the proposal! It was the most perfect day!
