HalyHaly

Officiant

Haly and Ryan started out as friends in high school. Through the years, they have supported and cared for one another through all of life's challenges. When Ryan and Monica started dating, Haly quickly became friends with Monica as well. Through the years that we have been together, we have become best of friends with Haly and her husband, Tyler. When discussing who we could have marry us, there was no question that Haly was the perfect person. She has been one of our biggest supporters and has been there for both of us equally. We are honored to have her marry us and help us in starting this new chapter of our lives.

JustinJustin

Best Man

I have known Justin since I was 5 years old. The Lomprey’s and the Tonry's have been one big messed up family since both of our dads worked together in Boulder City. For years Justin lived in Oregon, but once he moved back we started hanging out. He was my source for alcohol when I was underage. We hung out every weekend and I basically lived with him in my early 20's. Justin is a brother that I never had. I can call him at any moment of any day or night and he will be by my side immediately. Since the beginning of Monica and I's relationship, he has always made sure that she knows that he comes first. While it started as a joke, I think Monica has actually believed that it was true. Justin and I talk everyday and any time that I am laughing at something on my phone, Monica just asks "what did Justin say now?" Justin knew that Monica was the one for me before I knew it. Justin always told me, "you're going to marry this girl and you better make sure that she knows we're a package deal." Justin has been instrumental in my life and has been a source of support that only family can provide. His type of support may not be conventional, but it is perfect for me. Justin is there for both me and Monica and will sacrifice whatever to make sure he is there for us. Justin truly is one of my best friends and there is no way that I would get married without him standing by me.

AndrewAndrew

Best Man

Andrew and I met when we were in middle school when he was bullying my sister. Years later Andrew and I met again in high school and Jessica realized it was the same guy from when we were in middle school that bullied her. I knew at that moment he would quickly become one of my best friends. All through high school we would hang out nearly everyday. After high school, we didn't stop hanging out. When we hang out, we always try and convince the other to spend money that we don't need to spend and make terrible financial decisions for each other, just to make ourselves laugh. Andrew is a great person and always knows how to make me laugh, even in times where I am trying to be serious. For years Andrew has always been my first call when I need help with anything. The entire time that Monica and I have been together, he has always asked me when I was going to finally man up and ask her to marry me. While I was trying to find the perfect ring for Monica, Andrew was there to help me figure out which one made the most sense for her. When I mentioned the cost and how I was going to figure out how to pay for the ring, he immediately offered to buy it and I could just pay him back. THAT is the type of friend Andrew is, the best. He has been there for me through everything. Andrew is one of the most important friends that I have in my life and when I started thinking of who I want as a best man, one of the first people I thought of was Andrew.

TylerTyler

Groomsman

I met Tyler once him and Haly began dating. Tyler and I both hit it off after a few times of us all hanging out together. Very quickly did we realize that we are very similar and both have a sense of humor that some would say is "morbid". I also recognized that Tyler is a very genuine, good human being. He has a huge heart and makes everyone around him feel loved and always brings a smile to their faces. Tyler and I have been hanging out more and more over the years and I think Haly has become jealous of our friendship since we both enjoy crushing beers and golfing terribly together. Tyler is the type of friend that I can call that will ask no questions and be ready to: move a couch, hide a body, go to jail together (or bail me out), or sit there and listen to anything that may be bothering me and give advice for whatever I may need. I couldn't be happier to have such a solid human to stand next me to on my wedding day.

JordanJordan

Groomsman

Jordan and I met when Ashley and Monica were in nursing school. We immediately bonded (even though he is a firefighter) over the fact that both of our spouses were dying inside due to the stresses of nursing school. While they were studying (mostly crying) together, Jordan and I assisted them by sitting by a bonfire in his backyard drinking beers and talking about how both Ashley and Monica are too sensitive and need to buck up and just get their school work done. Since those days, Jordan and I have become close friends and we joke about each others careers and make our spouses jealous because we text more often than they do. Jordan was instrumental on the days leading up to when I proposed to Monica. I made a comment to him one day about asking Monica to marry me, and he instantly jumped on the opportunity to help me get it done. Over the next few days and weeks leading up to when I dropped down on one knee, he would text me with updates on decorations, weather forecasts, and locations that he had in mind for the perfect moment to pop the question. Jordan and Ashley helped set up the perfect day for me and Monica and there is no way that I would not have him standing by my side to marry Monica.

ChrystaChrysta

Matron of Honor

Chrysta is my older sister. While growing up, we DID NOT get along. We constantly were fighting and yelling at each other, blaming the other for things, and overall, just did not want anything to do with one another. Then, college happened. Chrysta moved away to Colorado and I went to Reno. I never realized what an amazing gift having that sister bond is until it was so far away and stretched thin. My sister has been my rock, my biggest supporter, and my voice of reason. I couldn’t do this life without her and I couldn’t get married without her right next to me. I am honored to have my sister be not only best friend, but my matron of honor as well.

DaynaDayna

Bridesmaid

Dayna and I met when I moved back from Reno in 2017 when we both worked at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. When I first met her, I did not think we would get along because she didn’t even say hi to me. Boy, could I have been more wrong. Through some challenging years, her and I have built such a strong, supportive friendship that I don’t even know how to begin to be thankful for. Dayna has been my confidant, best friend, and adventure buddy over the last few years. Whether that is driving along the west coast and through Oregon for a crazy week adventure or just sitting on the couch watching Frozen II for the gazilienth time, she always brings a positive attitude and a good time. She is someone I can go to for sound advice and for a good laugh. I can’t even begin to explain how lucky I am to have a best friend like her and how honored I am to have her stand by me through my biggest adventure yet.

JessicaJessica

Bridesmaid

Jessica is Ryan’s sister, but let’s be real, the moment I came into Ryan’s life, she became a sister to me. Jessica and I have gotten so close over the last 4 years. She is kind, supportive, and always has my back, especially when Ryan needs a good kick in the butt. She is someone I know I can always call if I need help or even just a friend. I am so excited to gain another sister and I can't wait to say “I do” to her brother with her by my side.

LaurenLauren

Bridesmaid

Lauren and I have been best friends since third grade. It all started when two little girls didn’t like the socks on their water bottles and decided to switch. Since then, we have been through the good, the bad, and the in between. She has been there for me when no one else could be and I know she will continue to be forever. Growing up, we would constantly talk about the day we would get married and how we would be in each other’s weddings. Now that the day has come, I am so honored to have her in my wedding. I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her there by my side, like she has always been.

AshleyAshley

Bridesmaid

Ashley and I met during nursing school. I will never forget the first time I met her because I thought, “this girl is nuts”. She straight asked “don’t you feel like we have so much time on our hands? Like, I feel like I have so much time to do things when I’m not at school.” I was shocked because I had just got done crying for the tenth time that morning and here she was telling me she had no stress. From there, our friendship only blossomed to what it is today. Ashley is always there for me when I really need a friend. They say in nursing school you will make friends for life, and I am so glad to say that it is true with this girl right here. She has seen me at my best and she has definitely seen me at my worst. I can’t wait for her to be by my side during one of the biggest events yet.
