What is the dress code?

Answer

There’s no strict dress code — we’d love you to come dressed in something you feel great in. As it’s a November celebration, cosy layers are encouraged. If you'd like to check anything like colours, feel free to get in touch with us. A small note: Our bridesmaids will be wearing dark green, so we’d be grateful if guests could avoid this colour where possible, unless you are part of the wedding party.

Is the venue bar cash, card, or both?

The bar at the venue is CARD ONLY. They do not accept cash.

What's on the menu?

Answer

Starter: Ham hock and parsley terrine, onion jam and sourdough Main: Roast breast of chicken, fondant potato, green beans, wild mushroom and tarragon sauce Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream Evening food (served at 8pm): Bacon rolls, potato wedges, and a selection of cupcakes Please note that all dietary requirements will be catered for separately.

If we're staying at the venue, when do we need to check in / out?

Check in is available from 3pm and check out is at 11am.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the venue.

If you have reserved a room for us at the venue, do we have to use it?

Answer

Not at all! You are welcome to take the room or find an alternative place to stay. Please just let us know what you decide to do.

Question

We would like to stay at the venue but haven't been reserved a room. What do we do?

Answer

There are a limited number of rooms available at the venue which we have pre-assigned. In the event that any free up, we will be sure to let people know.

Do we need to stay the night before?

Answer

You do not have to stay Friday night, but a lot of guests are choosing to do this to avoid travelling early/late.
