Family & Friends - We are still moving forward with our plans as the wedding is less than 1 month away. Again, we want to stress that we understand if you are no longer comfortable attending, we ask that you update your RSVP or communicate that to us directly. We also wanted to restate, please do not attend if you or anyone in your party aren't feeling well. Everything in our previous update on our approach still applies. We are taking great care in seating assignments to minimize exposure with guests who aren't in your household, or who you may not see regularly. Lastly, while masks are not required, they are strongly encouraged to be worn when social distancing isn't possible.
Family & Friends - We wanted to give you a rundown on how we are approaching our new wedding date in light of this new world we live in. First, we want everyone to know that we understand if you are uncomfortable attending regardless of measures we are taking. We currently have not cut our guest list, but anticipate that we may have less than 100 guests in attendance. Currently there are limited restrictions in Tennessee on weddings and this is allowed, but things could change. Our venue is quite large and can accommodate up to 300 guests and includes an outdoor veranda. We plan on spacing seating out as much as possible and making seat assignments for the reception to limit exposure. We will be providing hand sanitizer throughout the venue and will provide disposable masks for those who might wish to wear them. We plan on making the dance floor as large as possible so that those who feel comfortable can showcase their dance moves. We will be working with the vendors on their sanitation practices. Dinner is a buffet, but is not self serve. We want to ensure you that we take this situation very seriously and will do all that we can to make it safer, but acknowledge that we can't eliminate all potential risks. We will do our best to keep our page updated with estimated guest count, additional restrictions, and precautions we may be taking so you can factor this into your decision. Obviously, if you are not feeling well or have been around someone diagnosed with Covid, we ask that you please stay home. As a couple, we have taken this situation very seriously and limited our exposure to others in hopes we could contribute to slowing the spread. If you have recently been in high risk exposure situations or haven't been taking common sense precautions, we ask that you not attend our wedding. We are looking into a live streaming option if you cannot attend. Please reach out to us if you have more detailed concerns or questions. -Meredith & Ryan
Friends and Family - We have made the hard decision to postpone our wedding due to health concerns with the current COVID-19 outbreak. This has been a heartbreaking few days but we are so looking forward to our big day with you all but don't want to risk anyone's health. Therefore, we are moving our wedding date back to 9.19.2020. Same time and same place, just hopefully in a calmer time. We hope you are able to join us still, we will be sending out updated invites and keeping you in the loop via email. Thanks for understanding and stay safe. -Ryan & Meredith (with moral support from Gus & Juno)
