Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will have a formal dress attire. The reception however is optional just be ready to dance! :D

What does formal dress wear mean?

Answer

By dress formal, we mean evening wear. For ladies this means dresses such as summer dresses, even cocktail dresses is fine. For men this means suits, so dress pants, nice button up shirt, and a jacket if they so choose. Another way to explain formal would be wear your best church outfit.

What should I avoid wearing to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please avoid coming in anything that is our wedding colors which is navy blue and emerald green. We would like our guests to come in any other colors except these so that they are not matching our wedding party. Also, please avoid coming in jeans. Most importantly avoid wearing white.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would like our guests to show up at least 30 minutes early would be ideal. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2 pm and once it starts no one else will be allowed in so as to not interrupt the ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your wedding invites has a plus one then you can. However, if your wedding invite was written out to your name only with no further directions then no. Most of our guests will not have pluses on their invites unless the wedding couple knows both people very well. This is due to having limited seats to keep us and our family and friends covid safe.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy we ask that you let the bride or groom know as soon as possible once you have decided to attend the wedding so we can speak with the hotel making our food and make the appropriate accommodations.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, no, everyone will be responsible for their own source of transportation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the whole church will be booked for the day so park anywhere in the church parking lot. Also, the hotel has a parking lot as well but no specific area will be reserved so just park where you find a spot.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For our out of state guests, the Sheraton Hotel where the reception will be held will be offering our guests a discounted room rate for the wedding. Simply let them know you are here for the Melinda and Ryan wedding.

Why doesn't the phone number on my wedding invite to the hotel work?

Answer

The correct phone number to contact the hotel to book a room is 505-881-0000. The card we were given had the phone number typed out incorrectly and we were not aware of it until after the invites were printed. Sorry folks!

Is there a time frame by which I have to book a room at the hotel?

Answer

If you would like to book a room at the Sheraton hotel you will need to do so by 3/10/21. By this date the hotel will release the hold on the rooms being held for our guests.

What is the discounted rate being offered at the hotel?

Answer

The Hotel will offer a group sleeping room rate of 99 single /99 double.
