Frequently Asked Questions
Question

Where are the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will both be held outdoors at Cantigny Park, with the ceremony at Prairie View and the cocktail hour in the North Scallop Garden. Afterward, we will continue the celebration with a reception a short drive away at the Woodside Pavilion at Cantigny Golf. Please plan transportation accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our family and friends to dress up and celebrate with us! The attire is formal garden party, a dressier take on outdoor elegance. Think floral prints, soft pastels, and polished pieces that feel festive. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best as we toast the end of summer together!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve chosen to make our wedding ceremony and reception an adult-only celebration, with the exception of children in our immediate families. We so appreciate your understanding and hope this gives you the chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a night off!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Since we need to provide our venue with exact numbers, please ensure you RSVP by the requested date. If we don’t receive your RSVP in time, we sadly won’t be able to celebrate with you, and we’ll miss having you there! Please note that formal invitations have not yet been sent out. Therefore, there is no need to RSVP at this time. Stay tuned!

Question

May I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you refrain from using phones or cameras during the service. This helps ensure our professional photos and videos capture the moment beautifully. You are, of course, welcome to take all the photos and videos you like before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and during the reception!
